The ShroomBob Chanterellyn II a unique skibob and ski bike product providing a 4-bar suspension design with huge seat travel, exactly like expensive downhill mountain bikes.  The ShroomBob Chanterellyn II has nearly 8 inches of seat travel, using the best air adjustable shock absorber suspension technology from downhill mountain bikes. (The air adjustable shock allows different air pressures to change the stiffness of the shock.) Similarly, the ShroomBob Chanterellyn II uses mountain bike front forks having suspension travel of 120 mm plus or more.  

Both the retail and adaptive prices include your choice of frame color (we use powder coating), your choice of seat cover colors with two color choices for each seat cover (one color would be trim with the other the seat's main color).  You can choose your own rear suspension component, or use our model manufactured by Rissi Racing, and you can choose your own front fork or use our choice of the Rock Shox Tora.  If you select your own components our cost for those components would be deducted from the total price, and you would be responsible to pay the cost for your selected component.

Each ShroomBob ends (so to speak) at the ski boot mount (front and rear), to which skis (or snowboards or skateboards) are attached.  For the retail price we provide a pair of skis.  For the adaptive price, skis would be an extra cost.

Each Shroombob comes with a pair of ShroomBob design footskis, which we have just started producing.  These footskis constitute the 'green' part of our business (because they are recycled from the tips of old - but still in good condition - skis).  The foot ski binding is a simple wire loop for the heel, with a snow blade toe clamp for securing the toe of a ski boot.  The heel piece we have prepared is screwed to the rear of the ski tip (which is cut to a length of about 19 inches), and provides a 2.5 inch straight edge in the center, which, with a side cut on either side of this 2.5 inch edge, provides a sharp point along the edge for extra stopping power on hard pack and ice.  This side cut also allows for optional placement of two ice screws on the ends of the edge component itself.  

We also have foot ski options for using snowboard boots and bindings, or a step in system using the heel of a step in downhill ski binding to secure the toe of a ski boot.    

The ShroomBob Chanterellyn II skibob and ski bike collapses for convenience in transport or storage.  When folded up, the ShroomBob Chanterellyn II fits in the trunk of most cars, and can be placed in a standard bicycle shipping box (along with all your other ski gear) for air transport.  

To collapse the ShroomBob Chanterellyn II: 1) The skis attach to the ShroomBob Chanterellyn II with standard step in downhill ski bindings, thus ski removal is easy. 2) Four small wing nuts are then removed and the rear swing arm folds over to the front fork.  3) One large pin is removed, and the seat comes off. 4) These components are then loaded separately, and 'nest' together in a very conveninet manner when packed in a shipping box or trunk.

The ShroomBob Chanterellyn II has adjustable seat height and adjustable seat angulation.  Pegs can be mounted at the swingarm axle for those who prefer the peg style of riding, and in combination with seat height adjustment, the ShroomBob can be converted from a traditional skibob ride with foot skis, to a fully modern ski bike with foot pegs riding style.  The huge suspension travel, and very beefy frame, would certainly permit riding off jumps, in half pipes or terrain parks.  

The retail purchase price includes the right to trade the present ShroomBob Chanterellyn II model in, for any subsequent production model we produce.  I would consider a similar trade for adaptive ShroomBob purchasers, but would reserve final details of such a trade until it is requested.  I cannot say there are definitely any future models, because that depends on our business success.  Obviously, our hope is for many subsequent models in the future.

We have one fully assembled new the ShroomBob Chanterellyn II available for sale at this time, which would be available for shipping within 7-10 days.  Color Green and Black.  Seat cover is a blueish trimmed with black.  I will take a picture if you are interested.  

We have 5 frame sets fully welded and ready for powder coating and assembly.  Thus, we could provide a full custom ShroomBob (including your color choices) within 30 - 45 days.
